Cataract surgery

Cataract surgery is one of the most common and effective surgical procedures. The operation is an outpatient procedure using state-of-the-art equipment. General anesthesia is not necessary, local anesthesia with eye drops is used. An anesthesiologist is present during the operation, who will introduce analgosedation if necessary.

We perform operations using both the classic method using ultrasound (phacoemulsification) and the Victus femtosecond laser. During the operation, the most modern types of implants are used and their correct position is carried out using a navigation system.
